Because everything ships from our UK stock, most orders arrive 2–3 business days after dispatch. For a date that really matters, order a week or so ahead to allow for courier delays, and message us if you're cutting it close.

Orders are dispatched quickly from our UK stock, so they generally can't be cancelled once they've been processed for dispatch. If you need to change something, contact us as soon as possible and we'll help where we can.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll send a replacement or refund you in full, including any return postage. Recording an unboxing video when you open your parcel is the quickest way to help us resolve a claim.

Each product page has a size guide with measurements in cm and inches. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up — message us on WhatsApp if you're unsure.

Many of our pieces are handwoven or handmade, so small variations in colour, pattern, size or finish are normal and part of their character, not a fault. Screen settings and lighting can also shift how colours look.

Check the care instructions on the product page first. As a general rule, handloom cotton with a zari border is best dry-cleaned or gently hand-washed in cold water with a mild detergent, dried in the shade, and ironed on the reverse so the gold border isn't pressed directly.

Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth after use. To bring back the shine, clean with a paste of tamarind or lemon and salt, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Brass darkens naturally over time; that's patina, not a fault.

A kasavu saree is Kerala's traditional handloom saree: off-white or cream cotton with a border woven in kasavu, the gold zari thread it's named after. It's what many Malayali women wear for Onam, Vishu, weddings and temple visits.

A set mundu (mundum neriyathum) is the older two-piece form: a mundu wrapped at the waist and a neriyathu draped over the shoulder, both with the kasavu border. A kasavu saree is a single length of cloth draped like any saree. Both are traditional for Onam and Vishu.

Women often wear a kasavu saree or set mundu, men a kasavu-bordered mundu with a shirt or kurta, and girls a pattu pavada (a long silk skirt and blouse). Cream and gold is the classic Onam palette, often lifted with a coloured border or blouse.

A nilavilakku is Kerala's traditional standing brass oil lamp. It's lit at dusk in many Malayali homes, for poojas and the Vishu kani, and to open weddings and other auspicious occasions.

Kerala mural painting is a classical style that began on the walls of the state's temples and palaces. It's known for natural earth pigments — ochre red, yellow and green — bold outlines, and scenes from the Hindu epics. Today it's painted on canvas and fabric as well as walls.
